I had the pleasure of joining a fungi foray walk in the New Forest, UK in October 2018. Here’s a little gallery of some of the gems we found along the way.
While I can now definitely identify a few more, I’ve still got a little way to go before I can remember all 15,000 of them…! Definitely spotted were Fly Agaric (the ‘poster boy’ shroom that you always see – red with white dots), false deathcap (yum!), honey fungus, bracket fungus, shaggy inkcaps, puffballs and many more.
Obvious obligatory warning: Don’t eat random mushrooms, y’all.
